'Military Makeover: Operation Career' Spotlights Hirschbach Motor Lines

March 24, 2023

Tune in to “Military Makeover: Operation Career” hosted by Montel Williams for an in-depth look at how Hirschbach supports our United States veterans in their post-military careers as well as their personal lives.

We are proud to have been selected to share a few of our employees' stories on an episode of “Military Makeover: Operation Career."

Brad Pinchuck, Co-CEO, U.S. Army Veteran

Brad’s first experience in trucking took place in the U.S. Army. As a Platoon Leader stationed in Germany, he was responsible for all the heavy equipment, including bulldozers, dump trucks, and scrapers. That equipment also included semi-trucks and drop-deck lowboy trailers, which were used to transport equipment around for different projects on the military bases. "[This] unbeknownst to me, started my transportation career."

John Vesey, Fuel & Routing Specialist, U.S. Navy Veteran

John has worked for Hirschbach for almost 8 years in a variety of positions from Lease Operator to running the recruiting trailer. "Having that understanding and perspective from a civilian side and understanding how to shave off some of those edges from the military really help you transition and become a partner. I really get to grow with the company and the company really encourages me to [grow] with them. "

Ashley Alexander, Vice President of Operations, U.S. Army Veteran

Joining the team right after her 4 years in the U.S. Army, Ashley’s Hirschbach journey started in Customer Service. Eventually, she took on Management positions within the Operations department, where she eventually became the Vice President. "Things like leadership skills, decision making, and problem-solving [...] really resonated with me to my present-day job here at Hirschbach."
