As the leaves on the trees start turning colors and the weather gets colder, it’s time to start preparing ourselves for winter. While that may include pulling out decorations and favorite recipes for some, for truck drivers it means finding the best ways to stay safe and healthy while out on the road.
With the ongoing pandemic, prepping for winter drives may look a little differently than years past.

People might think about chocolates and candy when Valentine’s Day rolls around, but not those of us in the trucking industry.
It may be early in 2018 still, but we have started planning our 2019 Hirschbach Safety Calendar. In January, we started accepting submissions for the calendar. We are looking for paintings and drawings submitted by children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews of our drivers. We ask that the theme of the drawings be Driver Safety and possibly include examples of Safe Drivers on the road. The contest will be ending in July.
